Work in Greece

The work program in Greece allows Czechs, Slovaks and Ukrainians to gain valuable work experience in this popular destination. If you want to work in a luxury hotel right on the beach, spend your free days on the beach or travel around the Greek islands, meet people from all over the world and improve not only your English, then this program is for you!

You can work in Halkidiki or on the islands of Corfu or Kos in one of the hotels of the luxury hotel chain. These are very popular destinations for tourists full of beautiful sandy beaches, historical monuments and taverns, where you can taste great Greek gastronomy.

Covid-19 info

The work program in Greece is active and can be applied for. Despite the ongoing pandemic, the program worked normally in the 2021 season and a lot of people went there with us. At the hotel, employees must follow anti-epidemic measures (especially wearing face masks and, if they are not vaccinated, then undergo regular antigen tests, which employees have done directly at the hotel where they work). The situation in Greece is currently stable and both tourists and employees from abroad are allowed to enter Greece without giving a reason and with a completed departure form and a certificate of completed vaccination or negative PCR / antigen test).

Information for citizens of Ukraine

The Greek government has issued a statement that Ukrainians do not currently need a work permit to work in Greece. For this reason, our Greek employer has decided to support the interest of Ukrainians in working in Greece, and will pay all fees associated with the program, as well as a ticket to Greece to each Ukrainian who enrolls in the program and is accepted.

Where can I work in Greece?

Luxury hotel in Halkidiki or on the islands of Corfu and Kos

As part of the work program in Greece, you can apply for jobs in hotels of a luxury hotel chain in Halkidiki or on the island of Corfu or Kos, and to work in the following positions:

waitress / waiter
bartender
chef

Working conditions

work 6 days a week, 1 day off per week
net monthly salary 815–865 euros
free accommodation
meals 3 times a day for free
free transfer from and to work
“Leaving” bonus after finishing work (you will receive it together with the last salary)
Christmas bonus at the end of the year (you will receive it all at the end of the year, no matter how long you have worked at the hotel)
free transfer from the airport to the accommodation upon arrival in Greece

The minimum length of stay is 3 months (departure to Greece no later than June 15, 2022). The maximum length of stay is 7 months (April to October).

The participant pays a registration fee of CZK 1,499 and, if accepted by the employer, pays a program
fee of GBP 350. The price includes travel insurance in case of illness, accident, covid-19 illness, etc.
