The cost of transport in London is expensive. You will need to purchase an OYSTER CARD which you must have to be able to travel on public transport. You can also use your contactless debit or credit card to pay for your journey. However Oyster Card is the safest option.<\/p>\n
The transport is well connected 24 hours a day 7 days and with several options to choose from you will be quickly getting use to changing between the Underground, Overground, Buses or DLR to get you to work or school daily.
\nOnce you are settled working and getting paid this will become just another bill which could be paid in several ways.<\/p>\n
You may also decide to invest in a bike and cycle to work which is one of the options.<\/p>\n

Oyster card can be purchased at the Airport , any Underground station ,Overground Station or even at the local News Agents and other small food stores.<\/p>\n
The cost of the card is 5GPB. This is a refundable deposit which would be given back to you after you return the card.<\/p>\n
DO NOT FORGET!! to register your Oyster card at www.tfl.co.uk\/oyster as in case of the loss or the theft of the card this card could be replaced free of charge with the same amount of credit.<\/p>\n
After you register your Oyster Card you will also be able to top \u2013up your card online which will save you the time.<\/p>\n
